I am happy to tell you that so far, I have been faithful to my promise. It's also true that, at times, I felt like skipping my workout, but I didn't. Why? Because of YOU! The thought of saying live on camera I failed to workout was unthinkable. So, I stripped into my extra comfortable clothes and did my bit of skipping, twisting, punching, and kicking. After a shower, I felt great and happy I did it.
On February 1st in the morning, I weighed myself and, lo and behold; I was 5 pounds lighter!
I just made it because we watched Leafs game on TV twice that week, and I spoiled myself with pizza, wings, wine and desserts - yes, you read it correctly - desserts, as in plural. Luckily, regular workouts and a sensible diet paid off, and I accomplished my January goal.
February is a new month carrying new challenges and obstacles. I am going to kick and punch some more until I shed another 5 pounds.
