So, get this.
Lately I've been posting on Instagram.
Last night my 25 year-old daughter came home, and said, "mom, I have to talk to you."
"Okay," in cheery voice I replied, because, my daughter expressed she wanted to speak to me.
"But you can't be too sensitive about it."
"Oka-ay," not so cheery, thinking, what did I do now?
"You can't post any more pictures without one of us," she pointed to her younger sister, "checks it out first."
"Because they are awful," her voice so sincere, I practically felt guilty for having her raise her opinion.
I looked over to my younger daughter.
"It's true. mom," she agreed. "The soup in the bowl doesn't look anything like the soup in the pot." That was her input, then she returned doing her own thing.
I looked at the pictures mentioned. "It does look a little different."
"Mom, your soup is so much better then those pictures."
"But people pressed "like.""
"They pressed "like" because they know and love you. Also, if they had your soup, they know it's true."
"I'm gonna blog about this, you know."
"You do that, mom. You'll get the most likes and comments that we were right."
Those are my beautiful, smart and witty daughters.
Long story short, this weekend I'm getting an hour class on how to take, crop and post pictures that would reflect the truth and be pleasing to the eye!
